#2: Curse of the Circle of Harmonious Aria...
The first of the sprite comics. This one has a couple of little stories I can share. First off, as you may notice, I only, at the time, had one frame for each character. The was my bad. I failed to mention to Jorge just how many frames per character I need. Of course, now a ton of the characters have action frames, and all sorts of other goodness. Rather inauspicious beginings.
Also, a few things were done differently here from later in the series. For one, the font is drastically different. I think it's a Times, and by the next comic, I'd moved on to Arial, and Mab was using... whatever she uses. We also at this point were using the first variant of the CV RPG logo, which still gets use once in a while from Mab.
Furthermore, this comic helps establish some of the character backgrounds and personalities. The bigest divergence from the old forum RPG is Alec, who in the comic is way more innocent and... well... sometimes not so swift in comparison to his forum alter ego. Of course, no one has any of those old posts anymore, so I can do pretty well anything I want with him.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
