#5: What They Do

This Comic's Cast:

If you read Anne Rice, she talks about the "Dark Gift" and how the dark magics infuse a vampire, making him all special... and, also, kinda gay. I get the feeling Anne really just wanted all her characters to be gay so they could have emo man-on-man. Seems to be her thing.
Of course, now she writes Jesus books. Apparently there wasn't enough emo Jesus-on-Apostle porn out there.
Other books touch upon similar concepts (not the Jesus schtick, but vampires). As a vampire "matures", his dark gifts grow. He'll become faster, stronger, gain cool powers, be more charming. All kinds of things. A vampire will become more and more other-worldly as the years tick by.
Well, all except for Darkmoon, but we'll get to that.
The last line in the comic is a reference to a joke from the main archive. If you haven't gotten that far yet, I won't ruin it for ya.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
