Halloween Special #4: Quite the Party
I can't recall where the background for this comic came from. I'm sure it's somewhere on my hard drive, but I haven't managed to find it. It's a nice, detailed background.
I've had this conversation before with people. Some, religious types -- fundies really -- like to ignore the original origins of holidays, prefering to give them a Christian coat of gloss, pretending the original holiday is the work of some demon or devil or something. If only they knew how right they were (bwahaha).
I find a touch of irony that Richter and Blacula are having a nice chat.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
