#11: The Leader Appears

This Comic's Cast:

Of course he's mocking him. DSWC is written as if the characters both do and don't have knowledge of future events, such as World War II and the atrocities committed by Hitler. Certainly, living in the late 1700s, they wouldn't have any clue about that... and yet we do, as the readers, and we laugh because Mein Fuhrer cannot be used in this day and age without thinking of Hitler.

What a douche. Hitler I mean... well, and Shaft.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
