He's a soldier and he has to realize that people die in war -- he's probably seen that first hand. Casualties happen.</p> <p>On the flip side, though, mass attacks on this scale, which could end up entirely one-sided, are pretty awful. No one wants to think about that, especially if you're a soldier and you can put yourself in the shoes of your enemies from experience. It's a fun little design, especially once I get it out and flying. We'll see that eventually, but right now I at least have them introduced in the series so we can use them. Nice to have that setup.</p> <p>Sprockets is actually a lot like a Star Trek RPG character I played a while ago. He was named Plasma (that was his nickname) and he rebuilt a burned out shuttlecraft into a cool little starship. A lot of speedrunners have experienced that (which I've seen watching their streams) where they're always like "do I heal now or take that one last hit." Important to remind people where everyone is at.</p> <p>It is interesting to see how this comic has evolved. For the longest time Darkmoon was, effectively, the main character with everyone else kind of gravitating around him. Over time, though, the other characters have grown in prominence until we get to chapters like this one where Darkmoon can effectively be away for almost the entire story and the comic just keeps going like it's no big deal. Eventually her A.I. gained a certain kind of sentience before taking over and augmenting herself. Sarcasm and humor were a couple of the things she's added over time to make herself seem (or maybe even feel) more human.</p> <p>That's not to say she's good at humor. Richter can (and so I let Hanz do them, too). Other than those two, though, the only other heroes that have shown the ability are John Morris and Nathan Graves, neither of whom are true Belmonts (nor to the extent that Richter could). Item Crashes are a special kind of power.</p> <p>The Castlevania games have never established how Dracula reverts back to his normal form once he goes all Demon-powered.
