This Comic's Cast:
Everyone knows Link. Link is Link, rightful user of the Master Sword, Chosen Knight of Hyrule, and the Hero of Time. It's not as if a comic about him has to summarize all of these details, since these are just a commonly accepted part of pop-culture now.
The fact that Link is also dead, and a zombie, are part of the CVRPG version of the character. That's definitely something worth highlighting. If you didn't know that, this comic would make no sense.
Of course, this whole detail is a big old spoiler for some of the early comics in the series, but after seven or so years, I don't think I need to worry about spoilers for the very early going of the comic anymore.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
