Link is, of course, referencing the fact that Alec stole the four sword and had all kinds of holiday adventures with it. That sword isn't technically in continuity (nor are the adventures of Alec Purple and the Righteous Heretics, a different non-continuity adventure that spun out of that whole shenanigan), but I couldn't use the four sword and not make mention of it.
