#2512: Holy Word

As we established earlier (much, much earlier in the whole series), Golem is animated by the word of God stored in his head. It's called a "chem", which I got from Discworld (although some of the readers assured me it's also been used elsewhere). I mean, if I'm going to steal from literary sources, may as well steal from the best. Discworld rocks.

As long time readers will recall, the Devil is, in fact, Sindra, one-time fallen angel. Sindra is most certainly a woman. I don't recall her ever showing up when Golem was around, but considering there's 800 years we haven't seen, I'm sure they encountered each other at least once.

That said, right now I have no plans to actually show her in the current series. Referencing her was enough to scratch that itch for now.

Golem, you might want to take two steps back and start from scratch. What you consider common knowledge are like revelations from a book of myth to the poor guy, doesn't take you seriously at all.

I almost forgot about Sindra. She was pretty cool.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
