#2984: Resurrection

This Comic's Storylines:

See, despite what people said, Rift Wars really did serve a purpose. Multiple ones, in fact. I bet you never expected me to make the death of Evil Darkmoon actually matter, did you?

Hmm...but Isabella's counterpart is long dead so, really, there's already an imbalance...not unless, of course, Evil Katrina and Evil Isabella make up for our Darkmoon and Katrina. Given that Evil Darkmoon and Evil Alec died within a couple of years of each meeting the party while Alec and Princess lived for a while afterward (they lived long enough to pass stories down to their kids, implying they lived long enough for the kids to reach adulthood) Makes me wonder who the vessel would be. The obvious choice is our Darkmoon, but taking over his body might count as killing him and cause the universe to collapse on itself. Golem and Angel are likely unsuitable, and any of the girls would likely cause the same problem as mentioned above. The only one left from the main cast...is Claypool, and it did say he temporaily joined the party...

Then again, neither of them would even know who Claypool is, so he's safe@

I tend to think of it more as "this party of heroes, in general, is important to the universe for some reason." One or more of them could die, over time, and the universe will balance out. Kill too many of them at once, though, and everything goes to hell.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
