#3000, Part 2: Restarting

This Comic's Storylines:

Everything went down so, naturally, the first order of business is to get everything back up and working. Or, if you're Angel, being sarcastic and doing very little. I'm going to have to watch having him on the bottom row since, of course, I'm going to think he always needs to have the punchline for the comic. That will not help his character renovation one bit.

I will note that I had planned this little mini-series for some time, had settled on the name, and the logo, and everything (since I plan this shit way in advance). And then we got President Trump and all his shit and suddenly I was uncomfortable calling the comic "Xenophobic". I kept the nae as a reference to the arcade game, but I'm still uneasy about it.

I don't think there's much to feel uneasy about. "Xenophobic" is thrown around so much these days it's essentially meaningless.

No words are meaningless, especially "xenophobic." It's understandable to be at least a little uneasy about it, but I think it's good to stay true to the reference of a game.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
