Damaris
This Comic's Cast:
When I started writing this whole series I included a few characters based on people I know in real life. Alec, Darkmoon, and Katrina are, of course, the character played by myself and others (Mab included) in a forum RPG. An additional character added during the run, Damaris, was based on my then-wife.
You will note the "then" in the description. We since divorced, but I wasn't going to go through the archive and remove Damaris from the comics. I would have had to swap someone else in and there was just no reason to do that. Instead, I simply stopped using the character and tried very hard to pretend she didn't exist anymore.
I did have to make this cast comic for her, though. And that's as much as I feel like discussing it.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
