Welp. This is a thing now. I guess. Personally I'm not a fan of the comments beside the comic. I'd rather see them below - makes it easier to keep reading down the page into the comments after reaching the end of the strip rather than having to scan my eyes / scroll back up to the first comment. Otherwise the style's not bad. I could get used to this. I'm a little confused as to why there are both the stylized nav links at the bottom of the comic, and another set just below them in the about this strip box... seems we could do without one or the other.

Comments have always been on the side since I first introduced them a couple or so years ago. This isn't really a change... As far as the navs go, there's the standard navs above and below the come to navigate through the archive like normal. Then there's the plotline trackers in the Commentary area. That's also been a standard feature for a loooong time, and a number of people have asked me to keep doing it this way.

Site looks nice, and yeah the plotline follower has been there forever and is nice to have I'd ask to please keep it also. As to the comments it's odd if they have always been there, as I don't remember this comic having a comments area until seeing it now also, entirely possible I'm just being senile and it is just alot more obvious now. For me I'd have to agree with smilr now that I do see them and they jus feel distracting and out of place to the side of the comic.

Quick extra, not sure if it would be possible depending on the hosting being used for the page and coding knowledge, but would there be any way to add a toggle to hide the comment area to just see the comic and the authors about this strip comments? (which I've always enjoyed reading, thank you for all the chuckles)

I can certainly look into it. For me, having the comments on the side just made sense for the balance of the site -- there's a lot of room in the site layout that the vertical orientation of the comic precludes using. -Something- has to go on the side, one way or another. ;)

Y'know what. I feel like a fool now. My apologies Mike.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
