CVRPG Introduction #13: Focus on Battle

This Comic's Cast:

This is the weird thing about these games. When you're hired on to (or stumble into, or answer a Craiglist item to) save the world, the goal is the betterment of mankind. You're saving the world because no one else can, and if you don't, every human will die (or be put into a totalitarian dictatorship... and then die).
But what about the imps and goblins and ogre and such? Are we not concerned with them and their wellbeing? Because, if we aren't, doesn't that make us just as evil (for killing whole slews of them) as the big villain is for wanting to kill whole slews of us?
Just a thought...

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
