Let's count references: Dilithium is from Star Trek (the matrix being the crystal control field inside the engine core), worm holes are from jsust about every science fiction project, Deloreans (aside from being a British car) are from Back to the Future, Mogo is the planet that's also a Green Lantern, and positronic intelligence (among various sources) would also be from Star Trek.
We observe that the Dupli-Alec can use dark-based spells. This is something our Alec would never do. He's the quintessential Holy Man, using almost exclusively Light magic. Dark is a sphere of spells that completely contradicts his belief system.
I don't use summons very often. Really, that summon probably should have done more damage.
