#356: End of the Game

This Comic's Storylines:

Achievement Unlocked!

A hero's work is never done... and in some cases, never done correctly.

This is the official end of the first game. With this the old man picks up the travel journal and begins to read the next series, Year One.

The comment about it not being art is really directed at the people that think that just because a comic is done with sprites it's not a "real comic". Sprites are a medium, and the use of them helps to facilitate the idea that this is a video game. Working within context.

For those of you taking your first dive through the archive, may we suggest that before you take a dive into Year One you head over to the Bonus Archives and catch up on main of the main character's backstories: Darkmoon & Bunny, Alec, Katrina, and Angel. These stories will help to fill in a few of the gaps you may be curious about, and most of these stories lead up nicely into Year One. Afterwards, come on back and continue from where you left off.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
