#444: It's What Happens

This Comic's Storylines:

In the stories about golems (really, I guess by this point they'd be called fairy tales or even myths), the golem will eventually get it into his head to follow his orders a little too well, and will, in one form or another, go on some kind of rampage.
Really, the stories have parallels to the novella Frankenstein. We see where Mary Shelly get her inspiration.

I thought I posted this on my first trip through the archives, but according to AD&D rules, Frankenstein's Monster is a flesh golem.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
