Cantrip. She's going to bust out her cantrip. It is the single most useless spell in the game of D&D... Honestly, I'm not ever certain what it does. It was always so vague in the book, just something about aligning magical charges and developing some such and how. It's just... useless.

There's a reason they made it a Level 0 spell in 3rd Edition.

Also, for the record, I wish I didn't know so much about D&D.

In 2nd Edition AD&D cantrips were meant as minor utility spells that you could use with near impunity. In 3rd Edition D&D they got bumped up to being able to usefully annoy something in a fight but couldn't be used as much. They were still more useful as oddball utility spells.

I don't think so. Cantrip: unbuckle armor can be useful when properly applied.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
