And here's where we get into the plot point about not using combo-tech magics. I'm sure we'll belabor the point more in a bit... although I'm not certain I ever really did much with the plotline.
I'm sure I had something planned, and then I think other plotlines came up instead that were more important (and took over the relevance of what I had planned).
Really, this just allows me to skip doing combo-techs very often, and hand wave away the explanation of "why".
