#554: And It Starts

Here we are with a more classic RPG battle. Very Final Fantasy. In fact, those sprites are from some version of Final Fantasy. One of the GBA ones, I think.
I do feel bad. Katrina doesn't get as many lines as the boys most of the time. She's a good support character, but she's also not nearly as flawed as Darkmoon, or as innocent as Alec. She's a more "full" character, which means she doesn't have to do as much.
At least, not character-development wise.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
