Why does she know him? We'll eventually get to that, I'm sure. Just not now.
It's worth thinking, though, that unless it happened in the short span of years between when Darkmoon got his soul back and then joined up with Alec and Katrina, then he probably never fought the Sorceress.
And, for those that are wondering, I don't really know that Darkmoon had many other early adventures outside of those documented in "Out of the Darkness" and "Bunny Tales". Never really thought about it, to be honest.
