#590: Special Training

This Comic's Storylines:

Darkmoon raises a valid point. And it's something I had to struggle with in Year One (which, thankfully, i don't have to try and explain away nearly as much now that we're six months further along and Alec has had time to study). In Game One, Alec establishes that he knows about Dracula's castle and has useful information about the hunting of vampires, and yet in Year One, Alec is absolutely clueless. From a narrative perspective, this is fine -- if Alec doesn't know about it, Darkmoon can explain it and everyone (characters and readers alike learn something). But, for the characters, it was a bit binding, and I had to find ways to explain around it and yet still hit all the proper character points and plot points I needed.
I wonder what else Alec missed out on at warrior school...

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
