#624: Portal Open

This Comic's Storylines:

What was that, five seconds? Go Link!
It is a fair point, though. In just about every Zelda game I can think of (save two off the top of my head), Link is always just come kind wandering around, minding his own business. Danger and adventure come for him, and not the other way around.
The two where that doesn't seem to be the case are Link's Awakening (where it's, supposedly, the same Link from Link to the Past, and he's out to find new adventures in the world... although it's also probably a fever dream in his head) and the Adventure of Link (where Link is already the sworn protector of Zelda, so it's his job to get into trouble).
Our Link, though, has already been on several adventures. Obviously trouble knows exactly where he is at all times and is always coming after him. He may as well get it over with.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
