#789: A Rare Beast

Classically, wyverns are like a two-legged dragon. At least, that's the best way to describe them (as per ancient mythology and heraldry). They can fly, they have breath weapons (usually fire), and sometimes they have a venomous bite.
More recent fantasy stories and RPGs have made wyverns out be a different breed of creature, more like a large flying lizard than a true mini-dragon. I like the classic depiction (although finding two-legged dragon sprites is nigh-impossible), so I tend to use the "wyvern" term for any mini-dragon.
Of course, having established their rarity in-universe, I have to then have characters discuss it to hilarious effect. I'd say its excusable, as Katrina is a scholar and Darkmoon is Darkmoon, but I'd just be excusing bad party manners.
