#906: Towards the Den of Darkness

There is every chance Darkmoon would have gotten lost on the way to the castle. Then it would have been weeks before he even got there, if he ever got there at all. If the Year One arc is any example, Darkmoon could just as easily have forgotten all about his quest to defeat Dracula (again), and just wandered off to find a tavern.
As for him being an awful adventurer, to be fair he did survive for years on his own as a hero (as shown in Bunny Tales). Although every one of those stories is told from the perspective of another team member (or at least a little boy), so in a way it's arguable that Darkmoon has ever really adventured on his own.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
