#964: Water Below

Here is where the series starts to drag a bit. I really wanted to show off the maps I made and give people a good feel for the size of the castle. Of course, I never do that in any other part of the series (since I don't make the maps, and I just try to get the heroes from one plotpoint to the next), so the narrative momentum ends up a little compromised here in comparison to other parts of the series.
Not that I noticed it at the time. I was just trucking along, doing my thing. It was comments from fans that eventually tipped me off that, hey, maybe I should speed things up.
