Remember, while Richter lives in a world without most modern conveniences, such as cellphones, television, or the internet, pretty early in DSWC's run I introduced the "Crystal Ball Network -- a television/internet style magical macguffin that Richter used on more than one occasion.
Now, while that was a technological device that could, arguably, have been removed from the universe during DSWC's reboot, Richter would still remember it (since he has all his pre-boot memories). He'd understand internet porn even if he hasn't actually used the internet before.
