On the one hand I agree with Cassie. What Alec's party normally gets up to isn't very heroic. They hang out, they have sex, they get drunk. They act like humans (not the ideal of heroes we always assume them to be).
And yet I've played in enough RPGs to know that what Alec describes is exactly what heroes get up to most of the time. Sure, crises come up and we'd have to focus on the job at hand, but there is always downtime where the heroes never act as heroic as they're supposed to.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
