This is 2000, Part 3

This Comic's Storylines:

Hey, until the Active Battle meter starts, the heroes are free to have all the conversations they want in front of the end boss. Just look at Chrono Trigger -- most of the bosses there had some sort of dialogue sequence before the battle happened, and the heroes even managed to get off a few snappy lines before fighting each section of Lavos. There's totally a precedent for this.

Plus, I really love to have my heroes ignore all the danger around them while they debate the most banal of topics.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
