#2151: Big Gulp

This Comic's Cast:

Some people have stated that Angel is acting different in this series than he normally does, but I don't feel like that's the case. In the past, on adventures, Angel has always been a randy half-useless guy (like the rest of the cast) that still knows when to buckle down when needed. The fact is that Alec is only missing, not presumed dead. He's barely been gone a day, and most of that time was taken up with drinking.
In other words, right now the stakes are low. If Angel felt like Alec was in real danger, he'd stop being, well, himself, and actually focus on the matter at hand. For now, Alec can take care of himself, so Angel can get blitzed out of his mind on vacation until he's otherwise needed.
This, of course, despite Princess's worries on the matter.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
