Link lost his arm, but I'm sure he'll get it back. Hell, I know he will, since he has it again in DSWC, which takes place after this. So fear not, I'm sure he'll get it back soon.
Amusingly, the running sprite I have for Link barely has his right arm. Editing it only required moving three pixels, and it barely looks different.
