#2328: Battle Over?

Seemed like a good point to kill the witch. Or whatever she was. Dragged it out just long enough, and while I could have had her shift again, there's a reason I stopped here.
Basically, I liked the idea of the heroes running a quest that they were more than equipped for. They are strong and capable and probably over-leveled for where they need to be. This happens in RPGs sometimes, and it felt like, for once, I should have the heroes encounter that situation.
Sure, I came up with it on the fly, just now, but it amused me none the less.
By the way, I imagine Link stole the arm from a prisoner or a thief or something. Bit of a morally grey area. You come up with your own scenario, though, since he's not talking about it.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
