Slimes evolved as little balls of goo that go through dungeons, caverns, mines, etc. and clean everything off the stone. Anything that's easy to digest (dust, grimes, blood), slimes will suck off the stone and slowly digest. Largely they're harmless.

Sincewhen does Angel have a sword?Since when did he walk?Other than those little nitpicks, I like it...Not sure as to what I think slaughtered the base though.

He's actually always had a sword, he just doesn't use it much. Remember, from the very first appearance he was there to "lend his mighty sword" to their cause. From time to time, usually during wing dives, he brought his sword out... just, most of the time he drinks or hides.

Pretty sure he uses his other sword as often as possible though.
