Once again, Golem being invulnerable to most attacks is very handy. it allows me a fair bit of leeway that I couldn't get with other characters.

The fact that he has no magic to speak of, though, does help to balance that out some.

Golem's near-indestructibility is countered by the fact that outside of methods allowed by it, he doesn't have too many tricks up his sleeve to solve other stuff.

He's a tank. He'll take everything you can throw at him and some, but he can't give as good as he can take.

Doesn't he have magic letting him turn into other kinds of golems temporarily?

Kind of. This Golem is a lot like the Golem featured in the "Future Imperfect" timeline show in in CVRPG IV. He can modify his body magically (or through clockwork -- I've never specified) to get the same kinds of effects he used to get by transmogrifying his whole body before. It's more efficient and effective.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
