#2624: Office Space

This Comic's Storylines:

CVRPG has always been told from a fixed perspective. Be it at a 2D straight on (like in some of the old sprite comics or most of the current draw versions) or 3/4 view, the perspective is always the same -- there's always a plane that we don't cross, so we never see the "fourth wall".

However, we're in a drawn comic now, one where I can show whatever perspective I want. Normally I won't change things up too much, but I can shift around as I see fit, which is what we're doing here. Basically because I can. Plus it's fun to play with the tropes of the series (and most video games).

My wife pointed out that I didn't have to do the three panel turn, that I could have just had all the characters turn and face the screen in the second panel, and then gone to a 180 flip in the third panel. Of course she pointed this out to me after I laid out the comic, so eh... too late now.

I'm waiting for Darkmoon to "acquire" "commandeer" or through some other, likely dubious, form of acquisition gain Gertie as the main form of transportation for the party. Definitely looking forward to Bunny meeting our new party member. (I know it's not official yet, just another thing I await). :)

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
