#2713: Set it Up

This Comic's Storylines:

Sure, maybe it's a tropeish setup -- "What could go wrong?" followed by show what could go wrong -- but I still liked it. It played in this context, not the least of which because this comic normally focuses on one plotline per comic, so to switch at the end messes with its own conventions.

Never teach golems magic is the lesson, in case you were wondering.

It's gonna be really hard to like Sprockets. . . or just mildly detest her.

Ummm... Kat? Remember when YOU were learning magic? You burned your teacher's whole tower except for, I quote: "The foundation is still standing". Then again there's no oxygen in space. But now that the ship is self-contained, the ship could burn and burn until a hole is produced and sudden decompression happens. Either that or the fire will eat up all the oxygen.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
