#3000, Part 89: New Problems

Achievement Unlocked!

I will state up front right now that the original plan after Game 6 (2499) was to do a CVRPG: Shore Leave plotline starring Angel. That's not gonna happen now -- I don't like doing more than one "gaiden" story between main games (the short "The Band" story at the end of Island Honeymoon notwithstanding). Beyond my own personal preference, though, spending another chunk of time on a divergence of a story instead of getting back to main adventures didn't seem like a good use of the remaining time we have left in the series. I'll need the next 1000 comics to tell the rest of the big story I have planned (with one more small diversion in the middle, as is my way) so it's better if we skip the other story I had planned. Sadly.

Besides, how much time do we really need to spend with Angel? I mean, really?

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
