#3049: Or Not...
This Comic's Cast:
Aliens speak English. I almost made a deleted scene about this but I couldn't figure out a punchline. Still, aliens speak English, or really, more accurately, they speak Galactic Common which is, in essence, English. That's mostly because I speak English and, aside from the occasional Google Translate for humorously bad translations, this comic is written in English. If we were really thinking of the languages humans would use if they spread across the galaxy, it would be a mix of English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish as those are the three most common languages spoken across our planet currently. Those three would mix and mingle on the various planets, sprouting new offshoot dialects, which would themselves mix and mingle as travelers went from place to place, until we ended up with a weird, homogenized dialect that really didn't sound like any one language.
But for the sake of the comic, English is Galactic Common.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
