#3303: Burdens of a Soul
This Comic's Storylines:
I don't normally have the heroes fight humans since it's much easier to fight an "other" and not have to think about the ramifications of the action. Here, though, I've already shown the Stalkers to be humans (or, at least, sentient, caring beings). Killing them in a battle, no matter how "justified", seems like a bad thing. So some discussion on the matter was warranted.
Of course, then I gotta break it up with a joke because this isn't a serious comic either.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
