#3458: Domestic Bones Are So Much Cheaper
What Actrise is talking about is a glitch in many of the Metroidvania games. Essentially you can clip into walls in those games and get "zipped" to other areas of the castle you're not yet supposed to be in. Of course, you're also massively under-leveled and ill-equipped most of the time, so these are tricks best left to the speedrunners, but I'll use them here because it's narratively convenient.
