This comic was inspired when I was searching for various holidays to cover throughout the year. There are all kinds of "New Year" celebrations from various cultures, few of which happen on January 1st. It just seemed like, if all these days are arbitrary, someone should eventually point it out in the comics.
Besides, Death makes a good point. We're hurtling around a star are extreme speeds, and the star itself is hurtling around at extreme speeds. We'll probably never end up exactly where we were when we began this journey.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
