#255: Simon, Victorious

This Comic's Cast:

I really should have had Dracula's Castle in a more crumbled state for this comic. Would add to the illusion that Simon is watching in the customary pose the Belmonts take.

The speech is, at least at the start, from the end of Vampire Killer. That game is one of the hardest in the series, and yet all you get is a little text scroll for an ending. Not even a single shot of a hero on the cliffside. Lame.

I used the cinematic stylings to try and ape the introduction to Castlevania III. That game actually has nothing to do with Simon, but I still felt like working it in all the same.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
