#213: All Hail Nathan

This Comic's Storylines:

Teaming up Nathan and Samus provided an interesting dynamic. Past meets future, male and female, Chaotic Neutral and... well, okay, to be fair, they're both Chaotic Neutral in this comic.
No one ever said heroes have to be heroes all the time. Play in any RPG long enough (pencil and paper, not some fruity Japanese Video Game with the words "Final" and "Fantasy" sprinkled somewhere in the title), and you'll see "heroes" act fairly unheroic eventually.
The world is a dirty place, and heroes love to revel in it. Sure, they'll pull it together and do the hero thing when it's needed. "Need me to save these kittens from a burning building? Absolutely!"
Once in a while, though, you know those heroes pull off their helmets, set down their weapons, and (if nothing else) kick back with a brew and watch some "Gladiators" on TV.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
