Background provided by Secret of Mana. I think its one of the Ice Palaces or something. It's not as if we ever see enough of it to know the source material, or see any major items or plot points from that game in these screenshots. Honestly, it might have been a Fire Palaca that I recolored -- I do that sometimes.
I like the Secret of Mana zombies. They're very expresive -- certainly more so than the zombies in the Castlevania series. It's part of the reason why I use those instead of trying to cobble together a more "appropriate" one for the Castlevania universe that also matched the art style of CVRPG.
