#453: Ease of Passage

This Comic's Storylines:

I believe the phrase is "be careful what you wish for, you might just end up with a sword to the face by an area guard." I may be mixing up my phrases, though.

It's the way of most of the adventure-RPG style Castlevania games, though. Most of the minions you face are just that: minions, love level enemies without much power or responsibility. You can just cruise through the hallways... and yet, then, you come face to face with some randomly placed, over-powered beastie. So weird.

Seems to me that the owners of the castle would be better served spending the money to hire more of the strong guys and not try to fill out their ranks with the rinky-dink ones.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
