#476: Knowledge is Power

This Comic's Storylines:

Ahh, the library of plot convenience. Every story should have one of these, just so you can do this narration/action juxtaposition. Works great for laughs.

In reality I doubt ice would heal a vampire, but it works for the confines of this story.

I found a magic item in a D&D game that was essentially a book which ATE other books (and other documents). ...it however didn't like to eat more than one copy of a book, in fact, if a book was identical in its content to something it already ate, it would spit it back up. You could then ask the book to become any book it ate, or a index. It was happy to share its knowledge, as it would often find itself in the company of other books. MORE FOOD! The trouble was getting the books back out. You had to give it another book it didn't already had. ...and god forbid you leave it alone in a library. I had theories it was an artifact of Vecna... Regardless, Later I find out that Paranatural had a character like that. A living book that would threaten to devour your homework. Also it could make Paper Weapons like in Read or Die.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
