It's not the irony of their situation I find most hilarious. It's Alec's comment at the end. He's so bright eyed and innocent. It's awesome.

Ezra's Indestructible Continuance is a vague reference to Magic: the Gathering. I think one of the sorcerers in that game was Erza. I just changed the name up a little. If I had to guess, the spell is kind of a cantrip. No clue what it would really do (as if cantrips really do much of anything anyway).

Also, never once have I ever felt the need to have my characters roll for any stat. The Courage checks were meaningless frivel.
