Interestingly, Darkmoon suffered worse from the fire magic than Alec did. Why?
Well, for one, Alec is better protected against magic than Darkmoon is. As a holy warrior (sort of a knight/mage hybrid), he has greater magical access and greater magical defense. of course, Alec is also limited to almost exclusively using Light magic, so that helps balance out his other, major strengths.
Also, despite Darkmoon using Fire magic a lot (which, one would think, would give him a natural fire defense), he's undead, and the undead are (by default) weak against fire and light magics.
Now, watch. I'm sure sometime later int he comic I will use different reasoning and Darkmoon will take LESS damage from fire, and this whole argument will be moot.
But then I'll argue that he leveled up his fire magic and HA! You're wrong! Then I'll probably do a little jig.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
