I once had a professor yell at me about the comment "sex sells", saying something about how it was reductive and that sex on its own wasn't actually enough to interest people in your product.
Or something. I can't honestly remember the exact argument. I was probably thinking about boobs or something. Sex sells, amirite?

Only to a certain point. Once you get past it some people will end up disappointed with the unfulfilled promises implied and others will end up disgusted with you for relying so heavily on the 'sex sells' attitude and not on the effectiveness and inherent benefits of the product (although when getting more sex is supposed to be part of the 'effectiveness and inherent benefits' of the product it does take a lot more before the problems start, but then they get a lot worse a lot faster, just look at the advertising for tobacco products since the 1980's).

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
