I always like the idea of the villain having one of their long, hearty laughs, and slowly having it taper off into smaller and smaller chuckles. Because, really, when you're laughing (and I mean a good, hearty laugh), it takes you a while to come down from it.
Come to think of it, this is one of the last remaining jokes Mab and I came up with during the "Great CVRPG Brainstorming Session" way back in the day. It just stuck around in my head this whole time until I finally found a use for it.
