Carmilla is a lesbian, but that wasn't a character change by my doing. She's always been a lesbian since her original novela. She just likes the ladies, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Strictly speaking the only instance I can think of where Carmilla brought back Dracula is in Circle of the Moon (which happens long after CVRPG), so it's a bit of a cheat, sure. However, Carmilla is here and she has to power to do it, so we'll let that detail slide.
